The kitchen helper cleans and maintains the equipment in the kitchen, helps with basic food preparation, and assists with receiving and storing food in restaurants, clubs, fast-food outlets, catering companies, and other venues. They are familiar with general kitchen operations as well as general food storage guidelines. Kitchen helpers have the chance to learn about restaurant and kitchen operations and to collaborate with chefs.
